- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup diced cucumbers
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Fresh lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: In a mixing bowl, season chicken with garlic powder, ground ginger, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together sweet chili sauce and soy sauce, pour over chicken, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add marinated chicken and cook for 6 to 7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Slice the Chicken: Transfer cooked chicken to a cutting board, let rest for 5 minutes, then slice into thin strips.
- Warm the Tortillas: Heat tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side or microwave for a few seconds until pliable.
- Assemble the Wraps: Lay a tortilla flat, layer with lettuce, sliced chicken, carrots, cucumbers, and cilantro. Drizzle with reserved sweet chili sauce.
- Wrap It Up: Fold in sides of tortilla and roll from bottom to enclose filling. Slice diagonally and serve with lime wedges.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with tofu or chickpeas. Marinating chicken overnight enhances the flavor.
