Description

A quick and delicious pasta dish that combines the savory flavors of sausage with a sticky honey garlic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 lb sausage (Italian or your choice)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add sausage links to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and slice into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Stir in honey and soy sauce, allowing to bubble and thicken for about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Return sliced sausage to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  7. Add the cooked pasta and mix well.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

You can substitute chicken sausage or add vegetables for a healthier option. Make ahead by preparing sausage and sauce in advance.
