Description

A deliciously sticky and savory noodle dish featuring tender chicken, garlic, and honey, perfect for weeknight dinners and entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz noodles (such as egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and ginger to prepare the sauce.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the chicken in the skillet for about 6-7 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken, slice it into bite-sized pieces, and let it rest.
  6. Pour the prepared sauce into the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer.
  7. Add the cooked noodles and sliced chicken back to the skillet, tossing together until well-coated with sauce.
  8. Serve hot, topped with fresh green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Prepare the sauce in advance for a more developed flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
