Description

A delicious blend of sautéed chicken, garlic, and honey, tossed with noodles for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 grams Chicken Thighs or Breasts
  • 200 grams Rice Noodles or Egg Noodles
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 2 stalks Green Onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare your chicken: Cut your chicken thighs or breasts into bite-sized pieces. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook the noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Immerse your noodles and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat the wok: In your wok or skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Sauté the chicken: Add the chicken pieces in a single layer. Let them sear for 4-5 minutes without touching them, allowing a golden crust to develop. Stir occasionally until cooked through.
  5. Add the flavors: Lower the heat to medium, then add minced garlic, ginger, and red chili flakes. Stir for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Mix in the sauce: Pour in the soy sauce and honey. Stir to coat everything evenly, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  7. Incorporate the noodles: Toss your cooked noodles into the wok, mixing everything until every strand is coated in that luscious sauce.
  8. Final touch: Remove from heat, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions for a delightful finish.

Notes

For added nutrition, feel free to include vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli. Alternatively, use shrimp or tofu in place of chicken.
