Description

A vibrant twist on the classic meatloaf, featuring ground pork and spicy gochujang for a flavorful family meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (like cilantro or parsley), chopped
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the glaze:
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the ground pork, gochujang, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, fresh herbs, egg, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a loaf pan.
  4. Prepare the glaze by mixing the ketchup, soy sauce, and honey in a separate bowl.
  5. Spread the glaze generously over the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
