- Salt

- Garlic powder
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
- Optional: Pickles, diced onions, or burger sauce for serving
Instructions
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Press a small handful of the seasoned beef onto one half of a tortilla.
- Cook the tortilla with the beef side down for 2–3 minutes until browned.
- Flip the tortilla, sprinkle cheese over the beef, fold in half, and press down gently.
- Cook for another 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Slice into wedges and serve with your choice of toppings.
Notes
Can substitute ground turkey or use a vegetarian option like black beans. Allow beef to reach room temperature before cooking for even results.
