Description

Delicious Pecan Puffs featuring flaky pastry filled with a sweet pecan mixture, perfect for gatherings or a cozy treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Cut the rolled-out pastry into 3×3 inch squares.
  4. Prepare the filling by mixing chopped pecans, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl.
  5. Fill each square with a spoonful of the pecan mixture.
  6. Fold and seal the pastry edges with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for color.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
