Description

A deliciously crispy parmesan-crusted chicken served with a luxurious creamy garlic sauce, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 thin chicken cutlets
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (for sauce)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken cutlets with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge cutlets in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs and Parmesan.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and pan-fry cutlets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and crisp.
  4. Remove cooked chicken and keep warm.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  6. Add chicken broth, scrape the pan for flavor, then stir in heavy cream and Parmesan. Simmer until thickened.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and garnish with parsley or thyme.
  8. Serve with sides like mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted vegetables.

Notes

For optimal crust, let the dredged chicken rest for a few minutes before frying. You can prepare the sauce while cooking the chicken to save time.
