- 4 ounces sliced turkey
- 4 ounces Swiss cheese, shredded
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Powdered sugar for serving
- Warm jam for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the baking dish.
- Layer the bread slices in the dish, covering the bottom completely.
- Layer the ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese over the bread evenly.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth; pour this mixture over the layered bread and meats.
- Let it soak for at least 15 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until set and golden brown.
- Cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm with jam.
