- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Stir thoroughly.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the lemon zest and lemon juice.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- While baking, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice for the glaze.
- Allow brownies to cool fully, then drizzle with glaze.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored at room temperature for a couple of days or refrigerated for up to a week.
