- 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, blend the cottage cheese, olive oil, and egg until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt, then fold into the wet mixture.
- Add the chopped spinach and mozzarella cheese, mixing until even.
- Divide the dough into portions, shaping each into a round, about 1-inch thick.
- Place the shaped flagels on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute all-purpose flour with almond flour. Don’t overmix the dough to maintain lightness.
