- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add sliced onions to the skillet and cook for 10 to 12 minutes until golden and caramelized.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Drain excess fat from the skillet, then stir in Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce. Season with thyme, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes to meld the flavors.
- Toast the hamburger buns until golden brown.
- Assemble the Sloppy Joes by scooping the beef mixture onto the bottom half of each bun, topping with Swiss cheese, and placing the top bun over.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
