Description

Delicious crostini topped with creamy goat cheese, infused honey, and fresh chives, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced into 16 half-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 ounces goat cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Fresh thyme or microgreens for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the baguette slices on the prepared sheet, brushing both sides lightly with olive oil.
  3. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine goat cheese, cream cheese, chives, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Warm honey and red pepper flakes together in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Spread the cheese mixture onto each toasted baguette slice.
  7. Drizzle each crostini with the infused hot honey.
  8. Top with fresh thyme or microgreens. Serve immediately.

Notes

Make the cheese mixture a day in advance for freshness. You can also use an air fryer to toast the baguette slices if short on time.
