- 1 baguette, sliced into 16 half-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 ounces goat cheese, softened
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Fresh thyme or microgreens for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange the baguette slices on the prepared sheet, brushing both sides lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
- In a mixing bowl, combine goat cheese, cream cheese, chives, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Warm honey and red pepper flakes together in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl for 1-2 minutes.
- Spread the cheese mixture onto each toasted baguette slice.
- Drizzle each crostini with the infused hot honey.
- Top with fresh thyme or microgreens. Serve immediately.
Notes
Make the cheese mixture a day in advance for freshness. You can also use an air fryer to toast the baguette slices if short on time.
