Description

Indulge in homemade Reese’s peanut butter cups with a rich chocolate shell and creamy peanut butter filling, perfect for sharing or enjoying solo.


Ingredients

  • 9 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Line your muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Melt the chocolate with coconut oil in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave.
  3. Coat the liners with about 1 teaspoon of melted chocolate and chill for 10 minutes.
  4. Prepare the peanut butter filling by mixing peanut butter, butter, powdered sugar, sea salt, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Shape the filling into balls and flatten them on the set chocolate bases.
  6. Top with remaining melted chocolate and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Serve your cups and store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

Customize by adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top or using milk chocolate for a sweeter profile.
