Description

A delicious combination of creamy goat cheese, tender shredded chicken, and a sweet-spicy drizzle of hot honey, all toasted between slices of sourdough bread.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 oz goat cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 0.5 to 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Hot Honey: In a small bowl, combine honey and red chili flakes. Set aside.
  2. Assemble Your Sandwiches: Spread softened goat cheese on one side of each sourdough slice.
  3. Layer with Chicken: Place shredded chicken on two cheese-covered slices and drizzle with hot honey. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Complete Your Sandwich: Top with remaining slices, cheese side down, and press gently.
  5. Butter the Sides: Spread softened butter on the outer side of both sandwiches.
  6. Cook to Perfection: Heat your skillet over medium heat and cook the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and cheese melts.
