Description

A whimsical and delightful Easter Poke Cake filled with vibrant colors and layers of creamy vanilla pudding, topped with cool whipped cream and festive decorations.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream
  • Easter sprinkles or colored sugar for decoration
  • Mini chocolate eggs, marshmallow Peeps, or other festive toppings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to box instructions.
  3. Divide the batter evenly into four small bowls.
  4. Add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl and mix well.
  5. Spoon different colors of batter randomly into the greased pan.
  6. Use a toothpick or skewer to swirl the colors gently.
  7. Bake according to box instructions, typically 25-30 minutes.
  8. Allow the cake to cool for 10-15 minutes, then poke holes all over the cake using the end of a wooden spoon.
