Description

Transform your humble cauliflower into a gourmet delight with crispy edges and creamy cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 large cauliflower, broken into florets
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon chili pepper
  • Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
  • 225 grams sharp white cheddar cheese, grated
  • 115 grams parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 230°C (450°F).
  2. Break the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  3. Combine the florets with olive oil in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add Old Bay seasoning, chili pepper, and black pepper. Toss to coat.
  5. Transfer the seasoned florets to a foil-lined baking sheet.
  6. Roast on the top oven rack for 15 minutes.
  7. Grate the cheddar and parmesan cheese during the roasting.
  8. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle cheese over the florets.
  9. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 7-10 minutes.
  10. Serve immediately while hot and melty.
