Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Season the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet.
- Cook for about 7–8 minutes on each side until golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate to rest.
- Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, then add the lemon juice and zest, stirring to combine.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it, and let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
Marinate chicken thighs overnight for deeper flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat gently.
