Description

Ingredients

  • 120 grams raw walnuts
  • 80 grams raisins
  • 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 100 grams light brown sugar
  • Dough for rolling (flour, butter, sugar, eggs)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the walnuts, raisins, ground cinnamon, and light brown sugar in a food processor. Pulse until well blended but still textured.
  3. Roll out your cookie dough on a floured surface until it’s about ¼ inch thick.
  4. Spread the walnut mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Roll the dough up tightly from one edge, sealing in the filling.
  6. Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch wide cookies and place them on a prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For extra crunch, sprinkle sparkling sugar on top before baking.
