- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon for the topping. Sprinkle it evenly over the batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
