Description

Deliciously chewy blondies infused with warm cinnamon and topped with a sweet cinnamon-sugar blend.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar. Stir until well incorporated.
  3. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it into an even layer.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together. Sprinkle this mixture over the batter.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the blondies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
