- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 6 strips bacon
- Salt/Pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 small boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups uncooked pasta (Rotini recommended)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 2 cups half and half
- 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing seasoning mix
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a large skillet over low heat until crisp. Set aside and reserve drippings.
- Slice the chicken breasts, season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning, then sear in the reserved drippings over medium-high heat until golden and fully cooked (5-7 minutes). Let rest before cubing.
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, then add flour. Gradually whisk in half and half, stirring until smooth. Add ranch seasoning and cheese, mixing until melted.
- Toss the pasta in the sauce, add cubed chicken, and top with crumbled bacon. Serve warm.
Notes
For an extra touch, sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving. Pair with a green salad or garlic bread.
