Description

  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • Whipped cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a mixing bowl until it resembles damp sand.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared dish to form a crust.
  4. Beat together the sugar and softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
  6. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  7. Fold in the diced apples and ground cinnamon until evenly distributed.
  8. Pour the cheesecake batter over the graham cracker crust, spreading evenly.
  9. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the filling, swirling it gently.
  10. Sprinkle with chopped pecans, if desired.
  11. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the center is set.
  12. Cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares to serve.
