Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound thick-cut bacon
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and place a cooling rack on top.
  3. Mix together the brown sugar, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a mixing bowl.
  4. Coat each slice of bacon with the sugar mixture and place on the rack.
  5. Drizzle maple syrup over each bacon strip.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until caramelized.
