Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Smoked Sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup Long-grain white rice
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers, diced (red, yellow, or green)
  • 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add sliced smoked sausage and brown the edges.
  3. Toss in chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
  4. Add diced bell peppers and sauté for a few minutes.
  5. Stir in rice and Cajun seasoning, ensuring even coating.
  6. Pour in chicken broth, raise heat to bring to a boil.
  7. Once boiling, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes until rice absorbs liquid.
