- Prepare the coating: In a separate bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat the oil: In a deep skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F.
- Dredge the chicken: Remove each chicken breast from the buttermilk, letting excess drip off. Dredge in the flour mixture.
- Fry the chicken: Carefully place the chicken in the hot oil and fry for 5-7 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway.
