Deliciously indulgent Buffalo Chicken Bacon Mozzarella Bombs filled with gooey cheese and crispy bacon, perfect for any gathering.

- 225 grams mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
- 100 grams cooked bacon, crumbled
- 450 grams ground chicken
- 120 millilitres buffalo sauce, divided
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 100 grams plain flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 100 grams breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- Vegetable or canola oil for frying
Instructions
- Begin with mozzarella cheese. Chop into bite-sized cubes.
- Wrap each mozzarella cube with crumbled bacon.
- Combine ground chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and 60 ml buffalo sauce in a mixing bowl.
- Take a handful of the chicken mixture, flatten, and place the bacon-wrapped mozzarella in the center.
- Enclose the mozzarella in the chicken mixture and roll into a sealed ball.
- Coat the bomb in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally roll in breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil to 175°C in a frying pan and fry the bombs for 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
- Alternatively, bake at 200°C for 18-20 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Toss hot bombs in remaining buffalo sauce and garnish with extra bacon crumbles if desired.
Notes
For a healthier option, consider baking or air frying the bombs instead of frying.
