- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

- 1 onion (sliced)
- 8 ounces mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl. Form into four patties.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Brown the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until a nice crust forms, then set aside.
- Add sliced onions and mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized.
- Sprinkle flour over the onion and mushroom mixture and stir for about a minute.
- Gradually pour in the beef broth while whisking, then bring to a simmer until thickened.
- Return the patties to the skillet, cover with gravy, and simmer for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Adjust seasoning before serving, and serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
