Description

A delightful and easy-to-make dessert that combines the classic flavors of a banana split in a warm and comforting cake.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Layer the sliced bananas and drained crushed pineapple in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the dry vanilla cake mix evenly over the fruit layer.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  6. Allow it to cool slightly before topping with whipped cream, strawberries, and chopped nuts.

For a dairy-free version, use coconut oil instead of butter and whipped coconut cream in place of whipped cream.
