Description

Ingredients

  • Juice of ½ lime
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • ⅓ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Prepare the salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
  3. Mix the spices: Combine olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  4. Brush this spice mix evenly over each fillet.
  5. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the fillets.
  6. Bake the salmon: Bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Make the creamy sauce: Blend avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper until smooth.
