- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 cans (8-count each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
- 60 millilitres salted butter (melted)
- Sweet apples (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Gala)
- Caramel (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to the temperature recommended on the cinnamon roll package.
- In a mixing bowl, blend the brown sugar and ground cinnamon until well combined.
- Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into smaller pieces.
- In a greased baking dish, layer the cinnamon roll pieces and sprinkle sweet apple slices.
- Drizzle caramel over the combination and evenly sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture on top.
- Drizzle melted butter over the entire mixture.
- Bake according to the cinnamon roll package instructions, around 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool slightly, then serve warm, drizzling icing over each portion.
